The cushion ( or large doily )
Lay the fitted lace on the fabric and pin.
Sew, with a satin stitch all around the design.
On the back side , cut away the excess of fabric along the satin stitch.
Dip the designs in water until the WS stabilizer has been completely dissolved.
Let dry on a towel
Then, iron on the back side on a towel
 




Exemple : The medaillon
Embroid the design and dip it on water . Let it dry and iron on the back side on a towel
Lay the design on the  fabric and pin .
Sew, with a satin stitch all around the design.
On the back side , cut away the excess of fabric along the satin stitch.
Iron on the back side on a towel.


Double flower
Embroid the designs on watersoluble stabilizer (76 ou 90 microns)
Dip the designs in water until
the WS stabilizer has been completely dissolved.
Let dry on a towel
Then, iron on the back side on a towel
Overlay the designs and sew them together
with a straight stitch
as shown on the image
 


For the Pfaff 2170 -
satin stitch :
 3 or 3.5 width - 0.5  long


Join and sew the designs in the corner as shown on this image
 



Embroid the designs on watersoluble stabilizer (76 ou 90 microns)
Cut away the excess stabilizer leaving 3 mm all around the design
Join and overlay the edges of the designs and sew them together with a satin stitch machine as shown on the image below.

Regarding these designs (border) ,
it is better to sew them together before
to dissolve the W-S stabilizer
